Explore a collection of projects where I handled color grading, focusing on tone, contrast, and visual consistency.
I’m Lourenço, born in 2000, from Vila da Batalha - Portugal.
I graduated from the Lisbon Theatre and Film School (ESTC), with a degree in Screenwriting and Cinematography.
Today I work as a Colorist, and since 2022 I’ve been part of IrmaLucia Visual Effects, contributing to the Digitization and Restoration Project of the Portuguese Cinematheque Archive (PRR).
I’ve worked on over 40 films as a Color Grader, helping restore some of the most iconic works in Portuguese cinema — including A Divina Comédia (1991, Manoel de Oliveira), Cisne (2011, Teresa Villaverde), Um Adeus Português (1986, João Botelho), and Nós (2003, Cláudia Tomaz).
Beyond restoration, I also do color grading for contemporary productions. Recent highlights include the feature film Orlando Pantera (2025, Catarina Alves) and the short film Inheritance (2025, Mischa Andreski).
I’ve always had a deep, intrinsic interest in the visual aesthetics of cinema, and I continuously strive to bring a unique and thoughtful vision to every project — seeking a balanced dialogue between light, color, and narrative.
